The Beach was pretty clean this morning, nothing like the mess after NYE 2007. Alcohol bans and colder weather probably helped.

Recently closed rock venue and nightclub (Twister) in St Kilda burns to the ground in a deliberately and pretty convenient lit fire on July 11th 2007. These pictures were taken just after the Blaze began and before the Fire engines arrived. The 3rd picture down shows a man in black running away from the scene - could this be the Arsonist?

St Kilda Pier Kiosk should be ready to re-open in late February after being burned down back in September 2003. Looks like they have stuck pretty much with the original design.
